Norwich and The Joker.
Haha.
As long as we won! (Was prob on the deck, pissed, after the dickens goal before jock scored).

I know we played about 5 games in about a week an half.

Recent years, the Ipswich play off was the best atmosphere (hairs on the back of your gregory stuff).

2-1 FAC Quarter Final v Everton in 1991 when Stuart Slater was brilliant. Anyone seeing that performance and his one in the 5-0 home win v Sheffield Utd would have thought he was nailed on for international honours. Upton Park that night was jumping.

Re: Your favourite Match at the Boleyn?
Lots of great games to remember, one that I don't think has been mentioned is 1-0 v Wimbledon in the League Cup 89/90
Alf Bushk...wonder what he's doing now..

Old Alfie lost control that night – 6 booked and Dicksie sent off. Great strike from Mad Dog and a cameo appearance from a certain Justin Fashnau.

Loving the nostalgia on this thread, especially after reading the "Worst" thread.

Difficult to pick one out, but my top three would have been during the "Bukta" years.

Beating Everton 2:1 in the quarter finals

Gaining promotion against Cambridge

And Beating Wolves 4-0 - even though we missed promotion, it was the first time I ran on the pitch after witnessing great goals from Stewart Robson and Liam Brady

All them ones, plus the Ipswich night game '86, in the Chicken run. Great atmosphere especially when twinkle-toes Dickens curled the winner.
(Prob think of loads of others later).

Re: Your favourite Match at the Boleyn?
For me it was beating Tottenham at our last home game of the season 2013/14. We ended 4 straight defeats and made sure we stayed in the league. In addition, that muppet Kane scoring an own goal off of Andy Carroll's header and Downing's low strike.
I got smashed that day and night, it was the last ever time I went to The Duke.

So many to choose from but it has to be the match v Eintracht Frankfurt.

The crowd was absolutely buzzing that night and the best home atmosphere I have ever witnessed.

I was only 8 but i remember Stuart Slater cutting in and scoring our second with my uncle shouting "roast him stewie".

A great night and definitely one of my favourite moments as a Hammer.

vs Spurs last game of the 2006 season.

Denied them Chumps league through LasagneGate and on our way to Cardiff for the Cup Final. Having been promoted that season and favourites to go down that season really was wonderland!!!

Re: Your favourite Match at the Boleyn?
Another vote for the 4-1 demolition of Liverpool in the League Cup in 88. I had a Liverpool supporting mate in the South Bank with me that night. He had such a shitty night - ha ha.

Mentions for a 1-0 (Sheringham) win v Blackburn under Pardew and a 3-1 win v Wigan, with a great goal by Scotty Parker. Unremarkable games really but the first games for my eldest and youngest sons respectively. Felt like passing the baton on...
